In 2013 ILIOS was invited to explore one of the longest continuously running bell foundries in the world: the Rüetschi foundry in Aarau, Switzerland producing for the past 655 years (est.1367). During the stay, hours of machines and human labour to build a bell were recorded. Shelved for a few years, the compositions had grown an own soul. Consequently, additional elements recorded in Manila, Philippines and Delphi, Greece were added to better narrate the so called: The Tale of the Rüetschi foundry
